I’m Caroline, and I’m so glad you found your way here.

I came to this work because I needed it. Years in research taught me a lot, but they also taught me what chronic stress does to a body that never gets a chance to rest. My own healing journey introduced me to something I hadn’t expected: that the body isn’t a problem to be managed, it’s a doorway. And once I stepped through it, I knew this was the work I was meant to do.

I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), and I work with teens and adults who are ready to stop just surviving and start feeling at home in themselves again. I have a particular tenderness for women-identifying folks navigating trauma, including the kind that lives in the body around intimacy, sexuality, and relationships. I have experience with addiction and disordered eating as well. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and I mean it when I say all of you is welcome here.

Before this chapter, I spent meaningful time doing equine-assisted psychotherapy. Working alongside horses taught me things about presence, nervous systems, and nonverbal communication that I carry into every session. I also draw on the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Security Priming, and therapeutic yoga, because healing doesn’t happen in just one way, and neither do people.

I love working with teenagers, especially. There’s something about that stage of life, the intensity of it, the searching, that I find deeply meaningful to accompany. If you’re a teen, or the parent of one, know that this is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
